  These are the top 5 grossing video games which is really interesting as there is a wide variety of genres going through the list. The genres in these games are: MOBA RPG Puzzle Battle royale Stratergy Tencent published 3 of the top 5 mobile games being PUBG mobile, Arena of Valor and Clash of clans. Monster strike is owned by Mixi. Puzzle & Dragons is owned by  GungHo Online Entertainment.

Interpreting behaviours of mobile game players from in-game data and context logs summary This will be a summary of the article done by Farooq, Baek and Kim. Which is based the interpretation of data and context logs to determine the behaviour patterns of mobile gamers. In the beginning of the article they talk about mobile phones being life changing and how there were 2 billion smart phone users in by 2016. Further on they talk about how recently mobile game industry was rapidly growing, so they wanted ways to asses the behaviour of individual by the usage of data that was collected while they gamed. They split the article into five different sections. The first section being the introduction and the second being about the game that they chose which  was "The Shoot Them Up" game which is a retro survival game where you need to tasks to  survive. In this project in unreal engine 5 there are pre-sets you can use to help you begin the creation of the game. In this pre-set you already have some basic layout of the map and have some interactive boxes that you can move. After that I added a bench in which i changed its attributes making it in a different location and changing its rotation. You can change the material of the bench to look differently. As you can see I changed the colour and texture of the bench to be oak. I was then able to use a different already existing asset and add it to the program. In this case I added wooden chair into the program but shortly after changed its wood attribute into concrete. As you can see Unreal Engine 5 is a really flexible program which also provides high quality details to be implemented into your program.

The use of Unreal Engine 5 is to help the development of video games , its mostly known for its outstanding visuals it can provide to the game. General question analysis Question 5 shows that 9/10 participants purchased microtransactions in the past. Question 6 shows that there is a wide variety of price ranges of the participants. As some participants spend 0 meanwhile some spent up to few thousand of euros/pounds. Question 7 shows that there is vast amount of reasons to why people purchased microtransactions, however its mostly due to cosmetics people purchased them. Question 8 showed that majority of the participants were influenced by their friends into purchasing microtransactions. Some were influenced by the game itself or due to its ads. Question 9 shows that there is a lot of children who are exposed to microtransactions at a early stage in life, this is bad as some may argue that microtransactions can lead to gambling or they are gambling depending on the game.  Demographic analysis of survey There is a wide variety of age in the participants of the survey. However there is a distinguished majority in in it which is 50% of the participants were in the age bracket 21-30.This is an expected result as the majority of participants are students. In the second question , it asked the participants which continent they are from and there is an outstanding majority of European participants which totalled to 90%.The rest came from Asia. Question 3 had the largest variety of responses from participants. It ranged from unemployed people to entrepreneurs to software developers. The vast majority were male as there is a 9/10 responses from the male gender and only 1/10 for females.

Survey Questions Questions 1-4 are general questions that are asked to the participants about themselves. Questions 5-13 are more focused on mobile games monetization schemes.

  This Pie chart is based on the Casino.ca survey that was used to find out if people define loot boxes as gambling or not. The survey was done on 1003 people and the results were shockingly in favour of loot boxes being gambling.61.5% of 1003 people agreed that loot boxes were a form of gambling meanwhile 38.5% of 1003 people disagreed that loot boxes were gambling

  The Venn diagram above shows the different types of monetization schemes companies will use. Which all of them fall under the microtransaction category. It further divides into three different sections being: fake ads, DLCs and lastly in-game currencies. DLCs provide exclusive game content for money. Fake ads are  used to make you download the game due to you thinking its the game however its fake and they get money from the in game ads , until you de-install . Lastly you have in game currencies which can be used in a variety of ways such as customization or battle-passes where you get exclusive items depending how long you play
