Game development has many different technical challenges that are imposed on game design. Its a complicated process which requires a lot of different experience in multiple fields. For a game to be developed it needs to contain digital graphic design, modeling and simulation of the game , software engineering and lastly visual arts, there are many more to touch upon.

To plan and manage such a complex multilayered game development project requires correct approach and methodology.

Companies need to have quality insurance of their video game. They create test versions of their video games to see if they are running properly. If the game is able to run properly it is then made into a beta which it can be a closed beta , where certain people can play it to test. Or if its an open beta where companies give out keys , which is usually done in twitch where they hire streamers to promote their videogame and let them send keys to the viewers . Then they use the feedbacks on their game such as issues with the games or even the positives. It also includes feedback on what the direction the game should go. Betas are a great way a company can get feedback on how to improve upon their game.
